Urban Zotel & The Thundertones present their new single “Slow Lane” and brand-new video!

Urban Zotel & The Thundertones release their latest single “Slow Lane”, a mid-tempo track that takes us on a relaxed summer drive with reverberated guitar, raw saxophone, and a hint of Latin-inspired rhythm. Alongside the track comes the premiere of a new video, capturing the carefree spirit of the song.

The band has already made waves with “Go Surfin’”, their energetic debut featuring Rey-Dar and Thunderbeat, followed by the “Heatwave” EP with its powerful tracks Heatwave and Emergency Exit. Another standout release, “The Chase”, showcased their unique blend of surf vibes, cinematic tension, and raw instrumental sound.

Behind the project stands Urban Zotel, founder of The Star Time Playboys, who also recorded an EP in Orange County, California, in collaboration with acclaimed musician Tommy Harkendrider.

With Slow Lane, The Thundertones once again prove that surf rock is alive, vibrant, and open to new sonic directions.

Urban Zotel & The Thundertones predstavljajo svoj najnovejši single “Slow Lane”, ki nas popelje na sproščeno poletno vožnjo v ritmu odmevajoče kitare, surovega saksofona in subtilnega latino utripa. Ob izidu pesmi luč sveta premierno ugleda tudi videospot, ki dodatno ujame občutek brezskrbnega trenutka.

Zasedba je nase opozorila že z izdajami “Go Surfin’”, energičnim prvencem, kjer sta zazvenela Rey-Dar in Thunderbeat, ter z EP-jem “Heatwave”, ki je prinesel udarne skladbe Heatwave in Emergency Exit. Med izstopajočimi posnetki je tudi singel “The Chase”, ki potrjuje njihov značilen spoj surf vibracij, filmske napetosti in surovega zvočnega izraza.

Za Urbanom Zotelom stoji bogat glasbeni opus – je ustanovitelj zasedbe The Star Time Playboys, obenem pa je ustvaril tudi EP, posnet v kalifornijskem Orange Countyju v sodelovanju s priznanim glasbenikom Tommyjem Harkendriderjem.
