URBAN ZOTEL is Surfin’ with The Thundertones

After his solo debut, The Star Time Playboys' leader, Urban Zotel, is on his way to surf with The Thundertones.

Two years ago, Urban Zotel, guitarist, composer and leader of The Star Time Playboys put out his first solo release "Outer Space Sounds of Urban Zotel" on Martin's Garage Records which was successfully accepted both at home and abroad. Due to the pandemic, the concert promotion was disabled, but Urban didn't rest. On his YouTube channel you can find quite a few songs that have emerged during this time including the "Summer Getaway" with vibraphonist Vid Jamnik.

This time, Urban Zotel tackles surf music. "Rey-dar" and "Thunderbeat" were released as digital single titled "Urban Zotel & The Thundertones Go Surfin'" and resemble the tunes that dominated spy and detective films and series from the sixties like James Bond, Mission Impossible and Hawaii Five-O.
